The management of the National Institute of Theoretical Physics (NITheP) envisages an active visitor programme to enhance its research and training programmes.  The aim is to support visitors from foreign institutions with interest in the NITheP research focuses to visit NITheP for a more extended period of 3-6 months during which they will contribute to the NITheP research and training programmes.  The support will include accommodation and subsistence, but not travel cost.  The node at which the visitor will be placed will be determined by research interest.   As NITheP aims at local capacity building, priority will be given to proposals that involve South African researchers and students.
